Northland Eye Care: Dr. Thomas
Dr. Thomas founded Northland Eye Care in 2003 with the goal of building the extraordinary eye care practice in Northern Arizona. He grew up in Pittsburgh, PA earning his B.A. in Biology from Washington and Jefferson College in 1991. He went on to earn his doctorate degree in 1995 from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia completing an internship at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Hampton, VA.
Dr. Thomas and his wife Linda moved to Flagstaff in 2002. They have two adorable daughters, three Siberian Huskies and two cats. He loves spending time with his family and is very active in his free time. He enjoys reading, running, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and outdoor photography.
He is an active member of the Arizona Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. As a member of VOSH he has helped to provide eye and vision care to people worldwide who can neither afford nor obtain such care. The goal of this international volunteer organization is to eliminate preventable blindness by the year 2020.
